Tom Brown is an alumnus of VA.Tech with a degree in engineering and was employeed by DuPont for 31 years. He has been very active in this community for many years and held leadership positions in such organizations as Big Borthers/Big Sisters, Arc of Augusta, United Way, RiverFest, Dogwood Place, Waynesboro Senior Center, Camp Virginia, Jaycee, Rotary and the Wayne Theatre Alliance. He received the distinquished Salvation Army's Overton Award and has been named Outstanding Young Man of Virginia.
